Correction: Thwarting W32.Nimda (?) scans (Was: Code Red)

As an update to my first post prompted by someone mentioning the Nimda
virus instead of Code Red...

Anyone have information and/or counter-measures applicable to this
virus - pertaining to Red Had boxes?
