I've had problems with the 1.33 Athlon and an Abit KT7A-RAID. Their
latest BIOS upgrade was to enable the BIOS for faster CPU's. I think
they screwed it all up. The only way I've been able to get any kind of
stability under Linux (still locks up occasionally) was to reduce the
CPU speed to 1.2 GHz. We won't discuss the horrific results under W2K.
I'd be curious to see if you still had stability problems if you lowered
the CPU speed.
Eagerly awaiting a BIOS fix.....
