Or try an older version:)
Ximian ships a build of 1.4 and I think the
the RLH-7.1 powertools CD has a build of 1.4 too.
1.6 is still a work inprogress, especially
1.6.0. I have 1.6.1 that I built from source.
It has a few other packages it needs, like
Guppi, that have to be built first.
You'll probably like 1.4 better for now.
I noticed a message about this at http://www.gnucash.org/
try http://www.gnucash.org/pub/gnucash/redhat-7.x/RPMS/gnucash-1.4.12-1.i386.rpm
or
ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/redhat-7.1-en/powertools/i386/RedHat/RPMS/gnucash-1.4.9-3.i386.rpm
you'll probably also need g-wrap from the same location.
