I have an custom application running on my 7.1 box. (2.4 latest release redhat kernel).
I am wondering if there are ways to tune the system. Specifically things like context switching time between applications. Seems to be really slow passing data between apps. FYI, I have no experience building a kernel and sounds like I might have to tinker with parameters within the kernel. Any suggestions?
