You need to enable scsi emulation over the ide channel that
you cd is operating on. You can do this by enabling it in the
lilo.conf as follows:
append="hdc=ide-scsi"
Then you can use the cdrecord command with the scanbus option:
cdrecord -scanbus <<<<<MY OUTPUT>????
scsibus0:
0,0,0 0) 'RICOH ' 'CD-R/RW MP7163A ' 'BR08' Removable
CD-ROM
0,1,0 1) *
0,2,0 2) *
0,3,0 3) *
0,4,0 4) *
0,5,0 5) *
0,6,0 6) *
0,7,0 7) *
Once you have done this you can see which device to use in the command:
cdrecord dev=0,0,0 speed=16 -v cdimage.iso.
Dont forget to make an iso image.
