I can see your points on this, and I'm not going to argue against them.
The issue I have is that none of the different screenlock programs
seems to work as documented. i.e they don't unlock when typing the root
password.
Is this a delibarate change by RedHat or is it a bug. These programs works
as expected on most other UNIX platforms.
