Hi,

I'm new on the list and i try to find the answer in the archive but
couldn't

 My problem is the following:
Im using a RH 7.1 with ISDN dial up, as firewall, and the clients are Win
95
an Win 98. I set up the server to dial in, when a request is arriving from
the clients, and its workin fine when they want to use the web. But if they
try to receive their mails and start the Outlook Express, the server dial
in, but the OE not able to find the pop3 server. If the server is already
connected to the internet, when the clients would like to receive the mail,
its working fine, and they can download the mails.
My opinion, is that, the OE try to use too fast the internet, when the
 connection is not complet.
Can anybody give me an ide, how can I fix this, even in linux, or put a
 delay to the OE.

The other problem is, Im usin Samba on this server as well. And sometimes,
when the users connects to the server using the samba share, it dial in. I
try to disable with ipchains, but still not working well.
 Any ideas ?

 Thanks,

 A
