I'm confused by this. IIRC the performance breakthrough appeared in 2.4.10pre11 with Andreas Arkangeli's VM patch. I don't understand why Red Hat released a 2.4.9-6 kernel when the key performance and security fixes didn't appear until 2.4.10 and 2.4.12, respectively. Is it a "band-aid" with those two patches retrofitted? --Doc Savage Fairview Heights, IL _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
