Oh come on now!! If you really followed this stuff closely and thought
about what you just said you would realize that inorder to get this stuff
on the shelves ever there has to be a cutoff date to put the thing into 
production. Best I can tell that was around Oct 05 2001. That is what the date
for the 7.2 directory on the ftp site is. Anything after that will come to 
us as updates. Lets see Bugtraq just last week announced security holes 
in all of the older (older than 2.4.12 I think) kernels. How would you 
expect redhat to have the latest and greatest kernel on the cd's when 
it did not even exist at production time?

I will predict that at the same time they OFFICIALLY release 7.2 they
will open the 7.2 updates directory also for our downloading pleasure.
All it will take is a little more patience. Monday is only a few hours
away. :-)
