Hi I have two servers with Compaq Smart-2 LVD controllers both run fine with the cpqarray.o module. NOTE: configure the controlers for read caching write through I belive it is called. You do not want to loose data that was supposed to be synced to the drive but is cached and waiting to be written by the controller. Guy PS On RH 7.2 using Ext3 this may be less of a problem due to jounaling. We have had the servers running for two years and we have had no serious problems, but a full fsck runs every time we start the machine after moving or power failure indicating the drives are not "clean".
