Hi All People,
I have RedHat 7.1 ISO images download in Windows OS from website and
prepared 3 CDs. I tried several times to install it to a Hard disk (the
entire Hard disk for Linux only) without success. Each time at the end of
installation the PC hanged. I used the mouse clicking on the screen and
the PC prompted with following message :
/usr/bin/chfn : error while loading shared libraries : libpam.so.0 : cannot
load shared object file : No such file or directory
Xlib : unexpected async. reply (sequence 0x19221c) !
Gdk : Warning ** : GdkWindow 0x400cbb unexpectedly destroyed

install exited abnormally

you may safely reboot your system
Then the PC hanged again
I force rebooted the PC and it re-started with following promted
LI_
the PC hanged.
Kindly advise how to rectify the mistake. Thanks in advance.

Remark : I performed checksum in Windows environment and discovered
followings :
1) The checking of each ISO image found OK
2) The code of each ISO image verified identical to the MD5SUM file
download from the website.
