Do you need to automate this, or will you be selecting messages to save
to a test file manualy? If a manual method will work, then you can do
it with ping. The way to do it is to open the message, hit the right
arrow, and then hit S to save it. Pine will ask you for a file name to
save it to. The only drawback is that it does not same the message
headers.
If you want the mail headers, then you can open the message and use the
E (export) option to save the message to a file in your home directory.
This will save the message with the headers that pine is displaying when
you use the export command. Depending on how you have Pine configured,
you can turn on and off full headers with the H option.
