Dear group,
I am trying to install xemacs on my 7.1 system. xemacs needs
libRKC.so.1.0
libcanna.so.1.0
libwnn6.so.1.0
How do I find the rpms that contain these libraries? I am trying to
find a solution through rpm.
I found the first two in Canna-libs and the last in Wnn6-SDK-devel by
using "rpm -qpl" on the packages on the install disks. It took some
good guessing to determine the packages needed.
I have the libraries installed, but when I go to install xemacs
rpm -ihv xemacs*
off the the second installation disk, the installation fails because
xemacs requires libwnn6.so.1.0
rpm -qal | grep libwnn6
/usr/lib/libwnn6.a
/usr/lib/libwnn6.so
I have even run
rpm -V Wnn6-SDK-devel
