If that is the case, unless it interfers with it for some reason, it shouldn't be due to people aren't going to want to upgrade right away that are in production environments until they do their own testing/QA'ing themselves to prepare. So people should still be getting updates until then or however long that is. Also errata bug fixes are being put out but yet can't update, which *should* have no effect on waiting for a new release. Maybe the servers are just being redone, relocated, reworked or something as well *shrug*.
