I have a number of systems all cloned from the same disk. I have a problem on them in which atd fails during startup, and when I try starting it by hand using the "service atd start" command, it also fails. Additionally, xfs has a similar problem in which it starts, but for some reason exits. In the log I see the following: atd: atd startup failed xfs: listening on port 7100 xfs: xfs startup succeeded.
