Just when I had thought I had dealt with all the kernel panics that are init generated a new one appears. Could any one explain this: We created the initrd..img with the --with=ext3 option. We are using the 2.4.9-12 686 kernel. When we reboot the ext3 module is loaded and journalling seems to start. Then we get the message: pivot root: pivot_root(/sysroot,/sysroot/initrd) failed: 2 Freeing unused kernel memory: 224 K freed
Kernel Panic No init found. So what happened here? -- ------------------------------------------- Aaron Konstam Computer Science Trinity University 715 Stadium Dr. San Antonio, TX 78212-7200 telephone: (210)-999-7484 email:[EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
