I am trying to find out where the initial PATH variable is being set upon boot up. There are some paths that are in by default which I need cleared and some I would like to add. I know I can just have everyone set the PATH in there home directory but would prefer to fix this at its first instance. I am running RH 7.1. I did see the kerberos directories being set in /etc/profile.d/*.csh files and the /etc/profile checks the path to see is X11R6 path has been set and set it if not there.
