Hi Ross, You might get more help on the XF86-Xpert or newbie mailing list. I'd suggest trying newbie first and then if there's no response go to the Xpert (http://www.xfree86.org/mailman/listinfo). You should be able to get 1024x480. The chip is an ATI 3D Rage Mobility-M1 (according to http://www.zdnet.co.uk/reviews/fstories/0,3041,e7110672,00.html) and XF86-4.2.0 lists the Rage chips as being supported. When you do finally get it working it would be useful if you would submit your XF86Config-4 to the following site for future users: http://www.sanpei.org/Laptop-X/note-list.html You may also find this site useful for other questions (have you got Bluetooth working with this yet?!) http://www.linux-laptop.net I notice that your exact model doesn't have a page listed there yet but there are other PCG-C1 models that may be helpful There is also a mailing list specifically for linux on Vaios http://returntonature.com/pipermail/linux-sony/ Sorry I don't have a clean answer to your question, but perhaps some of the above will help. -Oisin _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
