Michael and all,

This is the problem I put up here - RHL7.2+updates having these issues with man, ssh and ftp (all of which break or get fixed at the SAME TIME).
Like two nights ago I re-installed/re-updated my kernel files and a couple othere... man/ssh/ftp stayed OK for two nights, then this AM found it broken again.
DOES NOT MATTER whether root or as my own id. Same problem.  And I've run the gammit of fsck -t ext3, rpm --rebuild, etc.

NOTE THIS HAS NOT always been so - it ONLY started happening about 2-3 weeks ago, and I cannot see why - I did not do any new installs or updates
I can remember - just - re-installs AFTER the problem trying to fix it.

Thanks all,
Peter
(I'm the one having this issue.)

PS: Is there a ENIGMA-list ???? Seems not.....

Good point.

What I suspect is some problem with db and/or path.

RH systems do have some problems with accesing all possible locations
of man pages for all users as well... I'm not sure if it's related.

Any opinions ?
