What Selvi needs to do is change the line that says:

id:5:initdefault:

To read:

id:3:initdefault:

The above noted line is the default init line...it tells the system which 
runlevel to start...runlevel 5 is "graphical" or "X", while runlevel 3 is 
text mode/console.
