Hi everyone.
Recently I bought a WinTV-USB tv video card from Hauppauge. I noticed
that they claim to have Linux support for their WinTV cards, but I have
had problems setting up mine.
I downloaded and compiled the "xawtv" application, everything went
fine. The problem appeared when I wanted to launch the application, it
claims that "/dev/video" is a directory, which in my case is correct, in
fact is has these files in it : em8300, em8300_ma, em8300_mv and
em8300_sp.
I suppose the problem could be that I have a usb-card, but I'm just
wild-guessing.
Could someone help me out?
