I'm using the 2.4.9-37Enterprise kernel. Seems kind of screwey that they would compile the kernel without the bigmemory built in. Go figure.

Install the kernel source RPM. Redhat ships the config files
used to buiild the kernels in /usr/src/linux/configs
what kernel (uname -r) are you using?)
