Hi all, could some one tell me what should I do to get different X displays running at the same time. What I mean is having CTRL-ALT-F7, CTRL-ALT-F8, CTRL-ALT-F9 all ready to take a graphical session, just like one has 6 ones in text-mode CTRL-ALT-F1 through CTRL-ALT-F6. I am making any sense?...I read something about that on the web a few days ago but I cannot find it back; as far as I remembered they sayed something about two XFConfig files and an extra line in /etc/inittab, something like :1 /usr/X11R6/bin/XFree86 -xf86config /etc/X11/XFConfig-4-otherresolution... but to tell you the truth I don't remember quite well. I know that VMWare's virtual machines start using those displays in sequencial order, but how can I have them launched at boot-up time? Any ideas?
Thanks all! _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
