I admit it, I should have written it down. I added a new DAT drive and Adaptec SCSI controller to an operating machine. It took me about 2 days to get the OS to recognize that the drive existed. I simply insmod'd the correct module and it was all working.
Do you think I wrote down which module it was? Do you think I can find the thing again? I'm running an Adaptec 39160 controller and a Seagate DAT drive. The BIOS sees the controller and the controller sees the drive. The OS loads the Adaptec module, but there is no /dev/sa for BRU to talk to. What did I miss?
