The message probably comes from /etc/cron.daily/tripwire-check. But
with 300 email messages, maybe your computer has been checking more often
than once daily. So if you don't find it in cron.daily, look in
/etc/cron.hourly. To stop generating the error message, either do what
the message advises or move tripwire-check into, say, /root, where it will
not be used unless you execute it yourself. Later, if you change your mind
and do want to use tripwire, you can move tripwire-check back to
/etc/cron.daily.
