Hi Bruce - 'Sorry it took so long to get back to you. When you tried to use the RH8.0 version you probably ran into library problems, among other things. The reason I suggested source is for the capabilty of creating an RPM package with rpmbuild after you get the source running on one computer. I don't know how old your servers are, but I've been running a number of older servers and computers on RH7.1 kernel-2.4.9-34 but when I tried to to upgrade to 2.4.18-18.7x it was a real problem with scsi drives and the pci bus - and also a problem with RH8.0 with the 2.4.18 kernel. This is just offered as reference in case you're thinking of upgrading as an alternative. Good luck; Bob Jones
