Hi !
I would like to know , if anybody can help me with this:
I have a problem when I try to copy my Oracle(8.1.7.4) datafiles using the
cp command on RedHat 7.1. After I had put my tablespace in BEGIN BACKUP ,
when I use the cp command to copy the datafile to a Staging area my machine
hangs and I see the following messages on my /var/log/messages:

kernel: __alloc_pages: 0-order allocation failed.

My machine has 2Gb of memory and my parameters on sysctl.conf are:

# Disables packet forwarding
net.ipv4.ip_forward = 0
# Enables source route verification
net.ipv4.conf.all.rp_filter = 1
# Disables the magic-sysrq key
kernel.sysrq = 0
* Shared and Semaphores Parameters
kernel.shmmax=2059460000
kernel.shmall=2059460000
kernel.shmmni=100
kernel.shmseg=20
kernel.shmmin=1
kernel.semmni=500
kernel.semmns=1500
kernel.semmsl=200

Thank you very much
