Hi ! I would like to know , if anybody can help me with this: I have a problem when I try to copy my Oracle(8.1.7.4) datafiles using the cp command on RedHat 7.1. After I had put my tablespace in BEGIN BACKUP , when I use the cp command to copy the datafile to a Staging area my machine hangs and I see the following messages on my /var/log/messages:
