I don't have any experience with php, but I can suggest a couple of editors for you, Frontpage is just horrible.
Try jedit (www.jedit.org). It is a free, open source editor written in java. Lots of features, and it makes use of plugins so you can add only features you want. The other advantage of jedit, is that it will run on anything that supports java: linux, windows, unix, and so forth. Another good one I used for HTML on linux is bluefish, though it has been some time since I used it, and now that I have jedit, I don't think I need anything else. *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 2/17/2003 at 12:57 PM Petur Kirke wrote: >Hello > >I have installed linux as a web server succesfully. > >If I want to use Microsoft Frontpage to create php-files, what do I do ? >Shall I install Frontpage Extensions on the linux server ? > >What programs / editors does linux people use, when they create or edit >html and php files ? > > > > >_______________________________________________ >Seawolf-list mailing list >[EMAIL PROTECTED] >https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list regards, shane. _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
