Richard,

Are you using SSH Communication Corp's file transfer client for win32? Are 
you using the new ASCII mode they added to version 3?

It's broken. During download, it does lose data at 32k intervals. 
Interestingly, the number of bytes it loses is the same as the number of 
carriage returns it needs to add during CRLF conversion. Easy to explain if 
the code uses two fixed 32k buffers to do the conversion. But one can only 
guess, since the source code isn't open.

We have build 203. This behavior is the same with both SSH Communication 
Corp's sshd and with openSSH as the server.
