Hi there, I am having trouble with the gnome login (from gdm). After entering username and password I got an error message and I returned to the login screen.
The .xsession-errors file says: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ $ cat .xsession-errors /etc/X11/gdm/PreSession/Default: Registering your session with wtmp and utmp /etc/X11/gdm/PreSession/Default: running: /usr/X11R6/bin/sessreg -a -w /var/log/wtmp -u /var/run/utmp -x "/var/gdm/:0.Xservers" -h "" -l ":0" "flex" /etc/X11/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup... /etc/X11/gdm/Xsession: Setup done, will execute: /usr/bin/ssh-agent -- gnome-session bind: Permission denied Do you have an idea why the ssh-agent fails with this error message? Please carbon-copy (cc) me at your answer (I am not subscribben to this list). bye, Felix -- Felix Schuster <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Vienna, Austria
