The best package I've uesd is BestCrypt

It allows you to create virtual encypted disk drives and select from
multiple encyption standards.
It has an easy interface and can time out access if the user has not used
the encypted drive for as set period of time.
They are also about to lauch a new enterprise version which seems to have
remote management features.

My client needs to encrypt specific files on several IBM portables. The
sales force is using Lotus Approach databases and Word/WordPro for
documents. The files need to be de-encrypted while they are in use an
re-encrypted automatically afterwards. The process needs to be
transparent to the user (they are not computer savvy) and light (some
machines are pretty old).
