Greetings folks-
This morning I ran HFNETCHK.EXE and got the output below...
===============================================
Using XML data version = 1.0.1.147 Last modified on 10/01/2001.
WINDOWS 2000 SP2
Patch NOT Found MS01-013 Q285156
WARNING MS01-022 Q296441
Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2
INFORMATION
All necessary hotfixes have been applied
===============================================
I KNOW I applied MS01-013. I had one of my admins check her machine and
another PC. Same thing. She re-ran it on her machine and same thing. I
checked the advisory at
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/TechNet/security/
bulletin/ms98-013.asp
and the check they mention is this:
===============================================
In Windows 98, Windows 95, and Windows NT 4.0
>From the Start Menu select Find and choose Files or Folders.
In the Named box, type mshtml.dll.
In the Look in box, click the down arrow and choose local hard drives from
the list.
Click Find Now.
If mshtml.dll is not found, your system does not require the patch.
If mshtml.dll is found, right-click the file, select Properties, and then
select the Version tab.
If the file version is less than 4.72.3509.0100, your system could be
affected and we recommend that you download the patch. If the file version
is greater than 4.72.3508.2400, your system does not need the patch.
===============================================
I checked and mine are all version 5.x.
I'm 99% sure this didn't show up last week...
Am I losing my mind or just doing something stupid?
