u need to do this if i didnt understand wrong:
router---Proxy Server--(10.10.10.1)----switch--PC(10.10.10.2)

my recommendation is use MS ISA server as proxy (its have caching and some
security future)
also u can use internet connection sharing in w2k server
* need to have 2 NIC on Proxy Server
* use router ip address as gateway on Proxy server
* if u use MS ISA server, install to MS Proxy Client on PC
* go www.microsoft.com/isaserver and www.microsoft.com/windows2000
