Yes, it is possible, but I don't think it would be practical.  If you
want to encrypt all traffic between your proxy and your clients it will
be easier, I think, to set up a proper virtual private network between
your clients and your proxy.  You can set up a SSH+PPP or a
FreeS/WAN-IPsec VPN router to do it.
