TCP/5000 & UPD/1900 seem to be opened by default (listen) in Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition, Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional, & Windows XP 64-Bit Edition and are used for Universal Plug and Play (and possibly ICS on WinME). See the KB articles for PnP at: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q262/4/58.ASP and for ICS at: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q241/5/70.ASP for more info. Larry
