I want to deploy the Linux "free" version of Tripwire to 10-20 servers, but I want to have it done in a way I could just as easily do it for 100.
Any tips how to automate this using a combination of shell scripts, rsync, ssh, and other standard tools would be appreciated. My guess is if I copy the program and policy files to each machine I can simply run a --init on each box. Then I'd just need to cron the --check to run daily and it would be all set. If this is a bad idea, any better ways to better automate the process would be appreciated. I'm sure there's people out there who have done this, any scripts you have that you would not mind sharing would be greatly apprecited. Thanks Matt
