PRP is Proximity Report Protocol, and it is UDP. It has something to do with server farms and load-balancing, I think. Do a search on Google for port 2091, PRP, or Proximity Report Protocol, and you should get an earful. good luck!

We were asked to open port 2091/tcp in our firewall, when I tried to research what service is running on port 2091 it says PRP. I would like to know what is PRP and the risk (if there are) in opening the said port. Forgive my innocence I hope somebody can help on me on this. Thanks in advance. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
