If you have an older version (part # 750.5312) of the SMC7004AWBR, the 
ability to add ranges has been added in the 1.93n0 firmware (current is 
1.93s0).

As for logging, the program RouterLog 
(http://homepage.ntlworld.com/nitech/routerlog/) will allow you to pull the 
log files off the Barricade and dump them to a local file.  Not the best in 
the world, but at least it allows you to keep the logs, which are erased 
from the Barricade if it is rebooted.

The only complaint that i have about this device is the inablility to
forward a range of ports to an internal machine.  Also i had alot of
problems setting up the integrated print server.  Other than that, its great
for home networking, and even has a limited logging function.
