Thanks Dan.
I do acknowledge that this is how I got out of the problem, just getting 
created a new passphrase, by deleting the keys from /etc/tripwire and 
executing twinstall.sh.
Now the issue is that since the earlier passphrase was not recovered, so any 
database created using that passphrase can not be checked.
Suggestions?
