Joseph, I'm not sure how's the licencing of IPF with OpenBSD 3.0 (my CDs arrive tomorrow); however, if you have any problems with your ipf ruleset then just use the ipf port from your 2.x CD. Do this if you need to have IPF up as soon as possible. Then you can migrate as your time schedule clears up. Nevertheless, I doubt that any rule will become a casualty. My server is up and the logs don't show an illegal rule (but never trust 100% your logs, so I'll also it check here).
