Hi all, A co-worker recently told me that about 10% of the email servers today will block email sent to them if they cannot ping the sending mail server in an effort to combat spam. It makes sense, but I've always thought that blocking ICMP at my firewall and only allowing port 25 communication was best practice. Has anyone else come across this? Thanks in advance.
