All the products you mention are "encrypted container" type products. That
is they create a file of X megabytes, mount it as a drive using a special
driver and then encrypt/format it and allow you to access it as a drive (L:\
for example). As far as I know there are no truly encrypted partition
programs for Windows, for Linux there are a few but the majority are also
"encrypted container" file mounted as a drive type. All are pretty good
security wise, the main caveat being you better use a strong passphrase or
it won't be hard for someone to decrypt your data (hint: your federal prison
ID number is a bad choice as scarfo found out =).
