Can you find the Doctor Watson Log?

If so, you can try to analyze the fault based on the log file.

Do a search on the drive that your system partition runs on looking for
DrW*.log

The file you will find will be the concatenation of a certain
(configurable) number of Dr. Watson errors. The error you are seeing
here is an access violation, this is caused when an application tries to
access memory in a way it is not permitted to.

The program that is causing the error is called udp_gsp.exe.

That memory address looks to be in Microsoft DLL land so you are going
to have to crawl back up the call stack (assuming it's still valid) to
figure out who or what originally caused the problem.

However if you don't have the source code for this udp_gsp.exe you are
looking at an uphill battle.

Incidentally what is that executable, I don't recognize it (anyone?)?

Subject: udp_gsp.exe error in NT

Hello all,

My Raprot Firewall is kept on WIN NT m/c & it keeps
on giving an error called udp_gsp.exe.When it comes we have
no choice but to restart the system as all the trafic of our
intranet stop & we can't connect to Internet.
Since we have a large n/w just restarting doest solve our problem.

The Dr Watson error says,
AN APPLICATION ERROR HAS OCCURED & AN APPLICATION LOG IS GENERATED.
udp_gsp.exe
EXCEPTION : ACCESS VIOLATION (OXC0000005)
ADDRESS : Ox77F6cde6

Can anyone solve the prob?
Thanks in advance.
