You a lot of parameters missing here , like how many subnets will be connected to this firewall ? , on how many network interfaces ? , will you be using VPN's? ,What kind on encryption will you use is so...? , how many VPN's? , what brand of firewall you are installing ? and much more , you should plan ahead with this as you wouldnt want a mission critical machine , such as a firewall, down because of a hardware upgrade....not a short time after its installed anyhow....
