By far the best solution to this problem is to talk to some company lawyer. While we are IT guys and we do are smart and things, most of us just can't cope with the legal mumbo-jumbo. I'm telling this from my own experience - if you want to make a legal document, you're just not smart enough. Ask some lawyer for help, tell him what you want to protect and how, and he'll wrap it in many legal buzzwords. It is vital that both of you work together, for the lawyer doesn't know what should be protected, how and why, and you surely don't know the "Zen of making buletproof documents" - it is what makes a guru lawyer, not guru IT. :) Of course, you can help yourself by making your own policy, but if someone gets fired because of breaking that policy, and (s)he sues the company because the document didn't clearly state something... you don't need such headache. -- Radoslav Dejanovic Senior Associate to Mayor's Office City of Zagreb, Croatia
