he only way someone can access an account is with your password. Now short of a lucky guess, the next most likely place to obtain your password is from your own machine via a trojan or other keystroke logging utility.
You might want to check out the TDS-3 utility (Trojan Defense Suite) at http://www.ddiction.com and see if you have been compromised. Best of luck. You will need to: 1) change your password 2) notify Yahoo of what you expect Include dates and times if you have any, as well as any copies of emails 3) consider alerting your ISP in case your connection was monitored. Hopefully, Yahoo will open a case and make contact with you. -----Original Message----- From: Tony Abedini Sent: Thursday, April 25, 2002 12:43 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Yahoo Account Security I apologize if I post this in the wrong group, but I'm suspecting someone has my password to my Yahoo! account. Does anyone know if Yahoo! keeps track of IP addresses that log into accounts and if yes, for how long? I've already contacted Yahoo! and also saw in their privacy policy that they keep track of the original IP address that the person creates the account. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
