OS X is essentially just BSD wrapped into really nice and friendly package. :) Therefore, you have firewall (IMHO, a really good one) built into your Mac. Use it, Luke! You might get puzzled with command line, but there's a third party GUI that even look familiar to ZoneAlarm and enables you to manage your local, wireless and PPP traffic. And it's free. http://personalpages.tds.net/~brian_hill/brickhouse.html Now, for the funny part of it - imagine some geek having a PC on his desk, while holding nice, round eMac somewhere in the corner; when questioned why he doesn't use that sexy looking computer, geek replies with "Oh, I do use it, it is our corporate firewall." :-) -- Radoslav Dejanovic Senior Associate to Mayor's Office City of Zagreb, Croatia
