OS X is essentially just BSD wrapped into really nice and friendly 
package. :) Therefore, you have firewall (IMHO, a really good one)
built into your Mac. Use it, Luke! 

You might get puzzled with command line, but there's a third party GUI
that even look familiar to ZoneAlarm and enables you to manage your local, 
wireless and PPP traffic. And it's free.

Now, for the funny part of it - imagine some geek having a PC on his desk, 
while holding nice, round eMac somewhere in the corner; when questioned why
he doesn't use that sexy looking computer, geek replies with "Oh, I do use 
it, it is our corporate firewall." :-)
