I'm currently working for a VFX company, I'm in charge of security and in the process of developing the appropriate security policies. I found some singularities that I would like to discuss with other people working in VFX related companies to see how they deal with them. The main point is that the production side believes that the users are special, because they're too creative. And so there must be no problem if they connect personal laptops to our network, copy files, or use their favorite file sharing program... Nothing should bar their unlimited creativity. So is there anybody here with experience dealing with the production side in this kind of environment ?
