If I wanted protection at a higher level, I would (and any security minded person) would look for a proxy level firewall .. unfortunately application proxy firewalls (like Borderware, Sidewinder or Cyberguard - these are certified by Common Criteria .. or evaluated to conform .. ) cost a bomb, excluding the hardware that you need to run these ... Where Watchguard fits in neatly .. it is an application proxy (for most common services) and stateful inspection (for user defined TCP traffic) .. and it is a box. My vote for Watchguard .. (though this too, like NS and Sonicwall does not host DNS) ...
