The OpenSSL documentation is very clear in outlining the potential legal problems using the software. Some algorithms are covered by patents, etc. Has anyone gone through the hoops to get 'okayed' legally to use OpenSSL in the US? Are other algorithms beyond IDEA and RC4 covered by patents?
